1 Coats for Kids Campaign!
Our Saint Vincent de Paul Society and the Knights of Columbus Chapter #3669 are holding their annual COATS FOR KIDS CAM-PAIGN! Now thru November 15th you may bring donations of NEW COATS, HATS, SCARVES AND GLOVES TO: SAINT DOMINIC and ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI CHURCHES CHILDREN SIZES 4T - SIZE 18 are needed. DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS, ONLY NEW ITEMS CAN BE ACCEPTED. 3 Blessing of the Animals
Blessing of the Animals and Pets (Drive up blessings) We invite you to come and celebrate the Feast Day of St. Francis with us on Sunday, October 3rd from 5PM to 5:30PM at St. Francis of Assisi Church. The Catholic Tradition respects animals as God’s creatures, worthy of our care. St. Francis wrote a Canticle of the Creatures, an ode to God’s living things: “All praise to you, Oh Lord, for all these brother and sister creatures.” Drive up and bring your favorite pet or animal, everything from dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, fish, ferrets, turtles, lizards, and giraffes, for a special St. Francis blessing. | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 |

On Tuesday evening, our Parish Council will meet at 6:30pm at the Parish Center. All committees are welcome and all council members are asked to be in attendance. 31 Family Liturgy
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!! We will have a special FAMILY LITURGY on Sunday, October 31st AT 9:30am There will be NO CLASSES! Please note that special liturgies are considered part of our students’ class time, so we encourage you and your family to attend this Mass. The Mass, sponsored by the Mt. Hope Youth Council, will be celebrated in the Parish Center. Coffee, juice & pastry will be served following the liturgy! As listed on the Faith Formation calendar, the next scheduled Sunday class will be on: Sunday, November 7th for students in Grades 1&2. This is a Family Class & we ask that a parent please accompany their child to this special class! Their will be a Parent Meeting for parents of students in Grade 2 regarding First Penance before class ends. PLEASE PLAN TO JOIN US FOR OUR SPECIAL FAMILY LITURGY ONOctober 31st AT 9:30AM!!! |
