Catechists in Grades 1-4 will meet in the St. Dominic's Parish Center for our start of the Faith Formation Year meeting! Please bring your driver's license as we will be completing CORI paperwork. We'll discuss some creative plans for the new catechetical year!

Please join us for the commissioning of our Catechists on Catechetical Sunday at the 9:30am liturgy! This will also be our first Family Liturgy and we invite our students in Grades 1-4 to celebrate with us & meet their Faith Formation teachers! 24 Backpack Blessing
Backpack Blessing All children Pre-K and up are invited to bring their backpacks to church to receive a special blessing at the 4pm (St. Francis) and 9:30am (St. Dominic's) masses on September 23 & 24, 2023! Blessing of the Animals
Blessing of the Animals at St. Francis of Assisi This year, it’s a drive-through event, so you All pets are welcome, from dogs and cats to birds and reptiles. The Blessing of the Animals is a centuries-old tradition that originated from the deep reverence St. Francis of Assisi had for all creation. It is a joyful celebration of God's abundant love and care for every living being. It’s a fun and festive way to show gratitude for your beloved companions and God’s wonderful gifts. The annual St. Vincent de Paul Walk for the Poor is being held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Bishop Connolly High School (rain date October 7). Registration starts at 8:30 am and the walk at 9:30 am. Anyone interested in participating in the walk is welcome. Further info and registration forms can be obtained from the St. Vincent Members from both St. Vincent de Paul Societies will be available after to answer questions or accept sponsorship donations. Donations can also be made through the Sunday collection. Please write Walk for the Poor on the envelope you use. All contributions support the District in its efforts to aid needy persons in the Fall River area. Any contribution to this effort is greatly appreciated! |

Then don’t miss the annual Blessing of the Animals at St. Francis of Assisi on
Sunday, September 24th at 5PM.
This year, it’s a drive-through event, so you
can stay in your car and enjoy the blessing from Fr. Tom.

The annual St. Vincent de Paul Walk for the Poor is being
